DARK GAIA'S PROFILE

I develop games and I write. I have a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and journalism. I like writing speculative fiction, horror and literary fiction, sometimes all blended together. You can find elements of my writing in my games, because I consider my games to be stories just that happen to have gameplay.

I post updates on my Facebook and Twitter:

Legionwood 2: Volume One full release incoming!

Hi Aurora.

Thanks for the understanding. And I also have some good news: there will no longer be a "Volume One". The release will now be the full game, which includes all six of the possible endings and the conclusion to the story.

At the moment, I am mainly planning to sell via Plimus, which is the service used for other commercial RM* games. I'm pretty sure they accept Paypal and credit cards.

A week or so after release, the game will also be on Desura, which may possibly have additional payment options.

One Night 4

No, not yet. One Night 4 is definitely not dead, though. There are updates planned for later in the year after Legionwood 2 is over and done with.

Legionwood 2: Volume One full release incoming!

Thanks for the kind words, macblo. I've always enjoyed making games and I'd rather continue doing it than stop. When I was younger I had much more free time to devote to it but as I move on into the "real world" (devoting time to writing novels, getting a job as a journalist) it's become harder to justify spending time working on RPG Maker games.

I really would rather have Legionwood 2 released in some form over simply abandoning it, and hopefully being able to earn a little money from it will support me as I work on more games in the future. :)

Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords

Hi everyone! I've been rather busy with Legionwood 2 among other things lately, so I haven't had much time to respond to questions. I hope these answers help:

@Aurora: Earlier versions of the DLC had that error. It was happening because the Tech Store had too many Techs listed. I think I fixed it in an un-announced update. Try re-downloading and reinstalling the DLC (or, if that doesn't work, port your save to the base game, purchase Techs, then reinstall the DLC).

@Netherworld: Yes, you can still beat the superboss. The only requirement is collecting the five Pins of Creation. The zolom cave quest doesn't provide one of those, so it's safe to miss.

@jason: Check the "Statistical Survey" item. There are also some character builds listed on this game page.

Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords

Yep -- just copy and overwrite when prompted.

Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords

Not sure why this could be happening, to be honest. There's never been a bug reported in the battle scripts.

Try this: if you're playing without the DLC, add it to the game (it patches various things which may help) OR if you do have it, try playing the start of the game without it (some people have reported that it may break some scripts earlier in the game).

LW2Sideview.png

@Noel_Kreiss: It's actually because of the Ace battleback format. All of the possible battlebacks have a very limited field of view, so any side view system unfortunately has to look "straight" as there isn't a lot of room to position the combatants without them "standing" on the scenery.

@GamingMitchell: As I'm switching from a front view system when the game's already about 60% done, I needed battlers that somewhat resembled the ones I was already using. There are always some analogues in each RM's RTP, and the RM2k3 battlers are very easy to just slot in as the monsters I've already made.

Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords

One of the cutscene triggers must have not worked for some reason. Just try using the party change item and see if you can refill the two vacant slots.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Mac version doesn't have any gameplay differences, so both of the Image Half items should be in their original places. You obtain one half from the alchemist in the cabin near Charn and the other half can be found in Chapter 4 (either in Marilith's Tomb or the Peregrin Canyon -- I actually can't remember which!)

One Night 4

First, fill the Sports Bag with pebbles in the library and put it on top of the pressure pad in the girl's bathroom. You can get a Glass Jar out of the chest, which you take to the teacher's lounge to fill with water. You can pour that into the toilet to force it to flush :)
